John 14:6,15,23 Heaven Has: Everlasting Benefits Intimate Fellowship with God Who is in Heaven Properties Joyous Activities Names Joy: You have made known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand. Psalm 16:11 and the ransomed of the Lord will return. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away. Isaiah 35:10 "He will wipe every tear form their eyes. There will e no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." Revelation 21:4 Praising God and Christ: Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, singing: "To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!" Revelation 5:13 Also, Revelation 4:8; 5:8-13; 7:9-10; 14:2-3; 15:1-4; 19:1-3; 19:6-8 Serving God and Christ: I answered, "Sir, you know." And he said, "These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore, they are before the throne of God and serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne will spread his tent over them." Revelation 7:14-15 Also, Revelation 19:5; 22:3-5 Worshipping God and Christ: Whenever the living creatures give glory, honor and thanks to him who sits on the throne and who lives for ever and ever, the twenty-four elders fall down before him who sits on the throne, and worship him who lives for ever and ever. They lay their crowns before the throne and say: "You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being." Revelation 4:9-11 All the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. They fell down on their faces before the throne and worshipped God, saying: "Amen! Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honour and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever. Amen!" Revelation 7:11-12 Also, Revelation 5:14; 11:16-18; 19:4-5 Barn: Matthew 3:11,12; Matthew 13:24-30 Better and Lasting Possession: Hebrews 10:34 City of the Living God: But you have come to Mount Zion, to the heavenly Jerusalem, the city of the living God. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly.... Hebrews 12:22 City of My God: "Him who overcomes I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will he leave it. I will write on him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on him my new name. Revelations 3:12 Also, Hebrews 11:13-16 Eternal Inheritance: For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance - now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant. Hebrews 9:15 Father's House: Jesus said, "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going." John 14:1-4 and Colossians 1:12 Glory: You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will take me to glory. Psalm 73:2 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2Corinthians 4:17,18 Also, 1Thessalonians 2:11,12 ; 1Peter 1:11 Heaven: Jesus said, "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do no destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Matthew 6:19-21 Jesus said, "However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven." Luke 10:20 But Stephen, full of the Holy Spirit, looked up t heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing at the right hand of God. "Look," he said, "I see heaven open and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God." Acts 7:55,56 Now we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, and eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands. 2Corinthians 5:1 Holy City: Then I say a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. Revelation 21:1,2 Home of the Righteous: But in keeping with His promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness. 2Peter 3:13 Kingdom of God and Christ: Jesus said, "Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world." Matthew 25:34 Jesus said, "And I confer on you a kingdom, just as my Father conferred one on me, so that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom and sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel." Luke 22:29,30 For this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person - such a man is an idolater - has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Ephesians 5:5 Also, Acts 14:22; 1Thessaloinians 2:11,12; 2Thessalonians 1:5; Hebrews 12:28 Mount Zion: Then I looked, and there before me was the Lamb, standing on Mount Zion, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father's name written on their foreheads. And I heard a sound from heaven like a roar of rushing waters and like a loud peal of thunder. The sound I heard was like that of harpists playing their harps. And they sang a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders. No one could learn the song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth. New Jerusalem: Revelation 3:11,12 and Revelation 21:1-27 and Revelation 22:1-5 Paradise of God: "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says t the churches. To him who overcomes, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God." Revelation 2:7 Rest: Hebrews 4:1-11 Bring me to: Salvation or Holy Spirit in Believers or Promises Jesus said, "...that everyone who believes in Him may have Eternal Life. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have Eternal Life." John 3:15,16 |
