What does God tell those of us who Are His children?   

We have the Lord's Everlasting Love.  God wants you to Cast your cares on Him!  He gives us a Big Picture through His Word, the Bible.  The Lord calls us to Pray for ourselves and others.  God wants to Create a Pure Heart in us and everyone through His Atonement and the Word of God.

if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.  2Chron 7:14

 And behold, a certain lawyer stood up and tested Him, saying, "Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?" He said to him, "What is written in the law? What is your reading of it?" So he answered and said, ""You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,' and "your neighbor as yourself."'   And He said to him, "You have answered rightly; do this and you will live."  But he, wanting to justify himself, said to Jesus, "And who is my neighbor?"  Then Jesus answered and said: "A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, ... leaving him half dead. Now by chance a certain priest came down that road. ... But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was. And when he saw him, he had compassion. So he went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; and he set him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him. On the next day, when he departed, he took out two denarii, gave them to the innkeeper, and said to him, "Take care of him; and whatever more you spend, when I come again, I will repay you.' So which of these three do you think was neighbor to him who fell among the thieves?" And he said, "He who showed mercy on him." Then Jesus said to him, "Go and do likewise." Luke 10: 25-37  NKJV

I tell you the truth, you will weep and mourn while the world rejoices. You will grieve, but your grief will turn to joy. John 16:20

God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." So we say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?" Heb 1:5,6

 

Called to Blessing:         Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous; not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing. For "He who would love life And see good days,  Let him refrain his tongue from evil, And his lips from speaking deceit.  Let him turn away from evil and do good;  Let him seek peace and pursue it.  For the eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, And His ears are open to their prayers; But the face of the LORD is against those who do evil."        And who is he who will harm you if you become followers of what is good? But even if you should suffer for righteousness' sake, you are blessed. "And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled."  But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear; having a good conscience, that when they defame you as evildoers, those who revile your good conduct in Christ may be ashamed. For it is better, if it is the will of God, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.     For Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit, 1 Peter 3:8-18  NKJV 

Let me understand the teaching of your precepts; then I will meditate on your wonders. My soul is weary with sorrow; strengthen me according to your word. Keep me from deceitful ways; be gracious to me through your law. I have chosen the way of truth; I have set my heart on your laws. Psalm 119:27-30         Read Psalm 119 for the reasons to read the Word of God!

Jesus said, "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. John 14:1

Jesus said, "...And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."  Matt 28:20

Yet because the wicked do not fear God, it will not go well with them, and their days will not lengthen like a shadow. Ecc 8:13,

Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.  In God (I will praise His word),
In God I have put my trust; I will not fear. What can flesh do to me? Psalm 56:3,4 NKJV

"Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will make you fishers of men." Matt 4:19, Mark 1:17

Go and teach everyone the Good News of the Lord Jesus Christ:  Mark 16:14-18; Luke 24:36-49; John 20:19-23; Acts 1:6-8.     

~The lost sinners need to hear what you know!  They need the salvation of the Lord Jesus Christ.  They need to know so that they may not die in their sins, but have Everlasting Life just as you do now!!  GO and Tell!!   You may send them pages of this website for encouragement.

~Pray for the Lord to guide you and give you His wisdom and a His heart for the lost so that they shall not perish in Hell forever!!              For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes--Jews first and also Gentiles. Romans 1:16   Thank God! Once you were slaves of sin, but now you have obeyed with all your heart the new teaching God has given you. Now you are free from sin, your old master, and you have become slaves to your new master, righteousness. Romans 6:17-18  

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.  1 Peter 2:9,10 NKJV

Love Your Enemies:        "But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you. To him who strikes you on the one cheek, offer the other also. And from him who takes away your cloak, do not withhold your tunic either. Give to everyone who asks of you. And from him who takes away your goods do not ask them back. And just as you want men to do to you, you also do to them likewise.  "But if you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. And if you lend to those from whom you hope to receive back, what credit is that to you? For even sinners lend to sinners to receive as much back. But love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is kind to the unthankful and evil. Therefore be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful. Luke 6: 27-36 NKJV

"Comfort, yes, comfort My people!" Says your God. Isaiah 40:1 ~Read all of Isaiah 40, which refers to the Messiah and His comfort which is permanent for the Lord God's people.

And the God of love and peace will be with you. 2 Cor 13:11; Phil 4:9

And he said: "The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer; The God of my strength, in whom I will trust; My shield and the horn of my salvation, My stronghold and my refuge; My Savior, You save me from violence.  2 Sam 22:2-3 NKJV

I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised; So shall I be saved from my enemies. Psalm 18:3 NKJV

Jesus speaks of the end times. Matt 24:1-44 ; Mark 13:1-37 Luke 21:8-36

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;  In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.    Prov 3:5,6 NKJV

I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13 NKJV

Jesus said, "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."  John 16:33

And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from his love. Death can't, and life can't. The angels can't, and the demons can't. Our fears for today, our worries about tomorrow, and even the powers of hell can't keep God's love away.  Romans 8:38 New Living Translation

What does God tell us about world violence?

Jesus speaks of the end times in  Matt 24:1-44,  Mark 13:1-37 and   Luke 21:8-36.   Please read also

~Much destruction is ahead.  But for those in Christ Jesus the Lord commands,  "Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God." Rev 7:3  And, "They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any plant or tree, but only those people who did not have the seal of God on their foreheads.  Rev 9:4

For those who Trust in Jesus Christ:       God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.  Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells.  God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day.  Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall; he lifts his voice, the earth melts.  The LORD Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.  Come and see the works of the LORD, the desolations he has brought on the earth.  He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth; he breaks the bow and shatters the spear, he burns the shields with fire.  "Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth." The LORD Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah  Psalm 46
